Putin Poised To Flood The West With Evil Deepfake Porn?
While the West has watched with horror as the ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine unfolded, and millions tightened their buttocks as Putin and his cronies repeatedly threatened a nuclear holocaust, it appears the worst might yet be to come. That’s because the man also known to some as Vladimir Putler has an even more evil and destructive weapon up his sleeve, and one that could truly spell the destruction of Western civilization and the end of humanity. Deepfake porn!
According to news reports this week, Putin has been relieving stress by looking at top AI porn sites such as Deepfake.com and was impressed by what he saw. Close advisors to the Russian dictator have alledgedly advised him that just a single deepfake nude image of an attractive female politician from the Ukraine could carry the destructive power of at least 100 Hiroshimas, weakening Western support for ongoing operations, as well as potentially sending both Joe Biden and Donald Trump into cardiac arrests if they spotted it on Elon Musk’s X. The cunningly clever part? Thanks to weak deepfake porn laws in the West, a Russian AI porn explosion might not technically constitute the use of a nuclear weapon, sparing Russia from a response from NATO and mutually assured destruction.
Nina Jankowicz, a former executive director of the US Homeland Security Department’s disinformation task force, reportedly told trusted news source The US Sun that she is “really worried” about the risk of AI porn in Putin’s hands.
Professor Jankowicz, who has studied in Russia and worked with the foreign ministry of Ukraine, analyses Russian operations aimed at weakening democracies around the globe.
She told The Sun that Russia has already used deep fake porn to attack its enemies – and only a single real image is needed to generate the pervasive AI nudes.
And the AI expert thinks the “sick” fake porn is definitely part of Russia’s “sexualised playbook” when it comes to weakening more countries in the West.
She even said some of the Russian cybercriminals producing the pervasive pictures are acting on Putin’s direct orders.
Former Ukrainian member of parliament Svitlana Zalishchuk was allegedly the victim of an AI porn deepfake nude image all the way back in 2017. In a fake Tweet seen by thousands, she promised to run down the streets of Kyiv if Ukraine lost a key battle. Before long, AI-generated nudes of Svitlana were spreading like wildfire on the platform now owned by Musk. It is not known whether this triggered the invasion of the Ukraine five years later, but Professor Jankowicz has no doubts that AI fuelled by misogyny, patriarchy, male lust, and the imperialist greed of Vladimir Putin, all have the potential to cause illbegotten effects on a global and truly cataclysmic scale.
“When I look at the vulnerabilities that we have in Western society, certainly misogyny is one and we know that [Russia] has used kind of misogynistic rhetoric and misogynistic disinformation before.”
I’m just happy that deepfake porn wasn’t around when I was a young man in the 1980’s. Any Soviet KGB produced AI-generated nudes of Margaret Thatcher would probably have left me scarred for life, unable to ever get an erection again.
